海外传来贺电祝贺松山英树学长取得大师赛冠军!

加拿大各姊妹学校分别传来贺电,祝贺松山学长在大师赛中夺得冠军!

Dear Mr. Yoshida
As I watched the final two rounds of the Masters-I was glued to the TV and was sending only positive thoughts to Meitoku alumni Hideki Matsuyama.
His winning the Masters was amazing. It was not only a personal victory for him but it also was a celebration of Japan and its history and culture.
When we first met and established a cultural-educational connection (Meitoku-Dakota) -I recognized your passion and commitment to International-Global understanding based on education and the sharing of culture. As well-your commitment was to not only academic excellence but also to the creation of opportunities for your students
, as future citizens, to challenge themselves in the arts and in athletics.
Over the years, your students have learned those lessons and watching Hideki excel under pressure and then accept the victory (humbly and with grace) was a reflection on some of the human and athletic lessons he learned at Meitoku.
You and your staff should be proud of the achievement of Hideki’s Masters Victory as it is a reflection of your school’s values and it’s commitment to every student’s pursuit of both personal excellence but also to the “common good “.
Stay Well and Stay Safe!

I hope everyone is well at Meitoku.
I watched The Masters this weekend (of course), and that was some of the best golf I have ever seen. Hideki was awesome!! His game on Saturday was actually unbelievable, it was so good. I was so happy to see him win. He is such a good player, and in spite of all his talent, he still seems like such a quiet and humble person. You can't help but cheer for him, and Meitoku should be very proud.
Ten years ago when he won the amateur at Augusta, I can remember driving some students to Polo Park. On the way I mentioned that there was a Japanese golfer who was playing very well, and they said, "Oh, yeah. Hideki. He's our classmate." I didn't know he was a Meitoku student at that time, and I actually thought they were joking. But they all insisted he was their friend, and even then, they spoke very highly of him. Needless to say I have followed him week by week ever since, and I can't begin to tell you how exciting this is.
Please offer my congratulations to Keiichi, Hiroaki and all of his former teachers. What an outstanding accomplishment!
I trust everything is going as well as it can at this point, and everyone is staying safe .....
Kind Regards (and take care),
